Playing With My Brother

Landon was so excited to play in the sandbox with his brother this afternoon! He often stares at Bryce, studying everything he does. He wants to be just like his big brother! Landon was very brave today playing on the slide!

Swim Lessons

Bryce started swim lessons again a few weeks ago. He is progressing slowely...at his own pace!

Miss Kathy is Bryce's swim teacher. She said today that when she asks Bryce to do something, his first respons is "No!" She tells him, "Yes, you have to" and then he will follow her instructions.

Bryce is kicking his way across the pool.

One Year Well Check

Landon had his one year well check visit at the pediatrician's office on Thursday. He weighs 19 pounds, 13 ounces and is 29 1/4 inches. Landon got three vaccination shots at the pediatrician's office. He was so sad! He almost had four, but since he is allergic to eggs, the pediatrician said he has to get his flu shot at the allergist's office. Bryce was upset because he received his flu shot while we were there.

Play Time

Bryce and Landon have been interacting a lot lately. Landon follows Bryce around and sometimes Bryce will let him play!

Landon already loves Thomas the Tank Engine!

Bryce calls this truck his "Monster Truck." He likes to sit on it and ride around the house.

Welcome To Preschool

Bryce started preschool last week and he is loving it! He goes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for 2 1/2 hours. He has learned two new dances (the Chicken Dance and the Hokie Pokie) and has met a lot of new friends. His favorite thing about preschool is bringing his new "Thomas the Tank Engine" back pack!

Playing With Emily and Aaron

We went to Emily and Aaron's house to play today. Aaron and I played in the sand box for hours.

We had a lot of fun digging and making a pond.

Emily and Aunt Lisa helped me go down the side. I loved it!

Emily was my buddy today. She carried me everywhere and even snuggled with me when I took a nap!

The York Fair

We took the kids to the York Fair on Thursday evening. The weather was perfect for walking outside at the Fair. The kids enjoyed looking at the animals, especially at the petting zoo. Bryce had a great time holding the animals.

Landon enjoyed the petting zoo too! Here he is with a kitten.

We let Bryce play one game at the Fair. He talked all night about playing this fishing game. He caught a fish and picked a toy alligator as a prize.

Playdate

I had a playdate on Thursday with my friend Meghan. Mommy and Meghan's Mommy (Mell) went walking together. Meghan and I were stroller buddies! When Meghan gets a little older, we will have lots of fun playing together!

A Trip To Bass Pro Shop

It was too hot to take the boys outside yesterday so we decided to take them to Bass Pro Shop. They had a great time looking at all of the fish, animals and equipment!

Of course, Bryce had to try out all of the ATVs.

John and Bryce rode in a NASCAR simulator car. Bryce loved it!

Bryce said he loved wrecking into the other cars!

My Big Boy Car Seat

I am officially no longer a baby! I moved out of my infant car seat and into a big boy seat! I love facing forward in the car - I can see everything my brother can see!

An Evening At The Park

We walked to the park tonight after we ate dinner. I was so excited to get there...look at me run!

I am becoming adventurous on the playground. I am climbing and jumping on the equipment that used to be very scary for me.

I had a great time tonight too!

Happy Anniversary

John and I celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary on Tuesday. We celebrated by going to our favorite Mexican restaurant (yes, with the kids - not so romantic!).

Landon's Birthday Party

We celebrated Landon's birthday today. It is hard to believe that he is almost one!

Landon needed help blowing out the candles on his cake. He had no interest in the cake - he was simply facinated by all of the people singing.

Landon was very excited after we blew the candles out. He wanted to put his hands in the cake. Unf0rtunately, we couldn't give Landon his own cake to eat because of all his food allergies.

Landon had fun tearing the wrapping paper.
