Sick Day

Landon hasen't been feeling well this week. On Monday evening he developed a fever and continued to have trouble breathing. Our day on Tuesday started at the pediatrician's office. In this picture, the boys are having fun playing with the trucks in the waiting room before Landon was called in to see the doctor. Landon got a prescription for a new medication for his nebulizer. While we were waiting for the prescription to be filled, the boys had a special treat - lunch at the Target snack bar. They enjoyed sitting at the counter while watching the cars in the parking lot.

Breathing Problems

John and Landon have been having terrible problems breathing during the past few days because of the high pollen count. We have been giving Landon breathing treatments for the past three days straight. Both John and I have allergies and John also has asthma. It looks like Landon has inhereted both. We are taking Landon to the doctor tomorrow to find out how we can treat his breathing problems on a long-term basis.

A Weekend of Tball

This past weekend was filled with tball! Bryce had another game on Sunday in the 90 degree weather. The kids were hot! This is a picture of Bryce up at bat.

Molly and Wally came to watch Bryce's game. Landon really enjoyed seeing them!

John is always helping Bryce and teaching him how to play tball. He is such a good daddy!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Today was opening day for baseball in our township. This is a picture of Bryce's team - John is in the picture because he is one of the assistant coaches. John is crazy....he is coaching Bryce's soccer and t-ball teams right now! Here is Bryce up to bat for the first time.

My cousin Becky's son, Sammy, and Bryce are on the same t-ball team. Landon received special attention from Becky and her husband Jack. Here he is snuggling with Becky.

Time to Mulch!

We had seven scoops of mulch delivered to our house this week. Spreading the mulch is a family affair - everyone grabs a shovel and starts scooping.....including the lone lady of the house! We hustled and got it all done in one day. Bryce is familiar with the mulching process and has been helping us for many years. In Bryce's world, having a driveway filled with mulch is a great day! I believe he fell asleep last night dreaming of swimming in a sea of mulch!

This was Landon's first experience with spreading mulch, and he likes it just as much as his big brother! Landon had fun filling up his wheel barrow and dumping the mulch where it need to go.

Hat Boys

Spring weather has arrived, and for my boys, that means it's time to wear hats. Bryce chose to wear his favorite hat today - his Ohio State hat.

What one does, the other must do too. Landon wore his York Revolution baseball team hat.

Yard Boy

Landon was John's special yard helper this evening. Notice Landon's face? He allowed his big brother to color his face with a marker! Landon will do anything to make his brother happy!

Play Time At Home

Landon was a messy boy after dinner tonight! Bryce had fun playing with his monster trucks this evening. Landon drew a picture for his Daddy.

Bryce was very intently drawing in his Lightening McQueen journal this evening.

Dinner with Friends

We went to Mary Ellen and David's house for dinner last night. We had a great time and the kids enjoyed playing together. We met the newest member of the Martin family - baby Charlie. He was sleeping during dinner so he is missing from this photo.

Bryce adores David and he asked if he could have a sleepover with David soon. Too funny!

Spring Soccer

The Spring Soccer Season officially began with our first game this morning. It was a lot of fun for all of us! John is an assistant soccer coach again. He enjoys being on the field with Bryce and the other kids!

Lego Land

Our living room looked like Lego Land this evening! The boys put three different Lego sets together - a helicopter, fire engine and boat. As quickly as John built something, Landon tore it apart!

Bryce was so happy to play with his Legos! We are looking forward to many more fun evenings with Legos!

Easter Celebration

We celebrated Easter at my parent's house. As always, Bryce and Landon had a great time playing with their cousins. Landon and Emily were inseparable. We realized this weekend that Emily can do things to Landon (hold, kiss, hug, play) that the other cousins can't. In Landon's mind, Emily can do anything she wants!

It was a beautiful day on Sunday and the kids enjoyed outside play time. Landon liked kicking the soccer ball.

Easter Morning

The Easter bunny visited our house! Bryce was really excited about the Easter bunny's visit this year! When he first woke up, he wasn't sure if the bunny came. He said, "Mom, the Easter bunny didn't come last night. I didn't hear him knock on our door. " I wasn't sure if Bryce thought about how the bunny got into houses, but now I know. He comes in the front door!

I purposely didn't get much candy for the Easter baskets, just a few eggs with chocolate and a bunny. Landon immediately found the candy and began devouring it! He also loved the mini MP3 player the Easter bunny brought. In this picture, he is listening to his music!

Bryce asked me to take a picture of him in his new sunglasses.

Family Bowling Night

We went out for pizza this evening then took the boys bowling. Look at Bryce concentrating on throwing the ball! He had a blast. We used this bowling aid to help Landon bowl. He loved it!

Easter Egg Decorating

We went to my parent's house yesterday for our annual Easter Egg decorating day. This is the first year that almost all of the kids really enjoyed decorating! The kids took several egg decorating breaks to go outside and play.

Landon had fun spraying his cousins with a water bottle. They would run up to Landon to get sprayed, then run away laughing. Too cute!

Happy Birthday Donovan

Bryce went to his friend Donovan's birthday party this weekend at a Karate school. All the boys had a great time with the activities and were exhausted by the end.

Boys on Bikes

Look at this daredevil on a battery operated bike. We have to run to keep up with him! Bryce has really been enjoying riding his bike. We are hoping that he will ride without training wheels by the end of the summer.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to an Easter Egg Hunt this weekend sponsored by my employer. The boys had a blast! Landon quickly grasped the concept of gathering eggs and goodies from the ground. Bryce and John stayed close just in case he needed help.

The boys had their faces painted. We were shocked that Landon sat for it without moving!
