Fall Decorating

We went shopping for fall decorations on Saturday. The boys really enjoyed picking out mums and pumpkins. There were special activities set up for kids at the nursery we visited. Both boys loved playing miniature golf.
Bowling with pumpkins was also a hit!

Flag Football

Bryce started flag football on Saturday and loves it! John and the coach taught him how to throw the ball.
Warm up before practice began.
While Bryce was playing football, Landon entertained himself at the park next to the field.

Penn State Fans For A Day

John and Bryce were Penn State fans today! My parents weren't able to use their season tickets for the game today so John and Bryce went in their place. No, they didn't wear their Ohio State gear....they both bought a Penn State shirt this week. Bryce had a awesome time! They walked to the Creamery for ice cream and went to the college book store to buy a hat for Bryce. They ate lunch at their car right before they went to the game.
Bryce lasted until a few minutes before half-time. He put his head on John's lap and said he was tired and ready to go home!
This is one exhausted little boy who slept all the way home!

Open House

Bryce's school hosted an Open House event this evening. We had a great time visiting Bryce's classroom and talking to his friends. Here is Bryce standing in front of his cubby. My boys love their books! Bryce enjoyed reading a few books on the special green chair in the library.
Monkey see, monkey do! Landon had to read on the green chair too!
The favorite spot of the evening was the music room. Bryce had fun playing with the instruments with his friend Connor.
Landon had a permanent smile on his face while we were in the music room! He loved it!

Evening at the Park

We have been taking advantage of the comfortable temperatures during the past week and have spent a lot of time outside. This evening we ate dinner at the park, played on the equipment and rode bikes. Bryce had fun climbing tonight!
It was the first time we took Landon's bike to the park. We were surprised at how well he kept up with Bryce!
In this picture, Bryce was pretending to be a bike racer! He loves cruising on his bike!

Fun In The Kitchen

Bryce and Landon had a lot of fun helping me in the kitchen today. First we started out making treats for Landon to share with his friends on his birthday. We made their favorite sugar cookies with M&Ms, marshmellows and chocolate chips. Yummy! It is a special treat that we make every year for birthdays!
Here is a picture of the finished cookie.
After the cookies, we made blueberry muffins to eat for breakfast this week. We had blueberries left over from Landon's party so we decided to use them for muffins.

Practice Makes Perfect

Bryce has been practicing riding his bike for several weeks. He has improved dramatically. He still isn't ready to give up the small bike because he knows he won't fall off of it. Maybe by next Spring he will feel comfortable riding a bike that is bigger!
