Creative Use of Yarn
The other day, Bryce said he needed rope for his trucks. He improvised by getting a pair of scissors and attempted to cut a string off a toy. We caught him just in time and gave him a roll of yarn instead. He has discovered many creative uses for the yarn. In this picture, he is wrapping it around a truck...we are assuming that he was trying to "tow" the vehicle with the yarn.
My Favorite Things
Landon walking around with a ball in each hand is a common sight in our house.
One of Landon's newest love is this big red truck. He especially enjoys riding in the truck bed, but he has to do it quickly because Mommy and Daddy always take him off!
Landon has learned very quickly from his big brother that stools (or toy bins) are great tools to use when you can't reach something! He enjoys them entirely too much!

Visiting Cousin Emily
Cousin Emily called us this morning and invited us to her family day at school. We had a great time visiting with her and we are very proud of how well she did during her class presentation. (Bryce was unfortunately very tired while we were there...you can tell by his lack of enthusiasm!)
Aunt Lisa helped to entertain Landon during our visit. (I have no idea who the boy is in the picture!!! He is one of Emily's classmates who wanted to be in the photo! How cute!).

Happy Boys
A Perfect Fall Day
The weather this afternoon was absolutely beautiful and perfect for playing outside.
It has been several weeks since we played in the sandbox in the back yard. What a differance a few weeks make! We think Landon recently experienced a developmental growth spurt and it was evident in the way he played outside today.
Landon LOVED pushing the big Tonka truck around the yard.
At first glance, one might look at this picture and say, "Look at them playing together. How sweet." In reality, Bryce is very upset that Landon is playing with "his" truck and he is taking it away from him. They will eventually learn to share, right?
