A Very Big Week

Last week was a very exciting one for us....actually monumental. After 14 months of potty training Bryce, we are finally finished! Bryce has worn underwear for over a week now. We thought this day would never come. We were honestly thinking that Bryce was going to go to kindergarten in pullups! As with everything in his life, he did it on his terms. If he is like this at three, what are we going to deal with at 16?!?

Memorial Day Fun

We went to a Memorial Day picnic today at my Daddy's best friend's (Mark) house. I had lots of fun playing in the sprinkler with the other kids.

I Am Growing Everyday!

I have been achieving so many developmental milestones lately! My verbal skills are expanding daily and I am getting stronger everyday! Last week I stood up by myself for the first time! I was very excited that Daddy was able to share this milestone with me while we were on vacation!

Here I am smiling before I went to bed tonight. I can stand in my crib now and pull myself up when I hold on to the rails.

Last Day of Vacation

We spent our final day of vacation on the beach all day. Here we are in the morning taking a walk on the beach.

I had a great time on Friday running at the beach!

I was so tired on the last day of vacation that I slept for hours on Mommy and Daddy's chest.

A Great Day For A Walk

We went for a walk yesterday. The weather is great for walks in the evening.

The Dunes

One of our favorite places at Nags Head is the Dunes. It is one of the most beautiful sights! Bryce loves digging in the sand there!

An Evening At The Beach

We went to the beach yesterday evening after dinner. It was a cool and windy evening.

A Treasure Hunt

Mommy took me to the beach early yesterday morning to search for seashells. I decided to search for a "hidden treasure" instead! It was so much fun!

Cape Hatteras

We drove to Cape Hatteras yesterday to see a lighthouse. The drive was beautiful! The lighthouse behind us is one of the tallest on the East Coast.

Greetings From North Carolina

We are on vacation this week in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. This is a picture of the house we are staying at.

I love being at the beach! It is the best! I am having so much fun playing in the sand. I also like to go to the edge of the water and run away when the waves get close to me.

I love the beach too....but not as much as my brother does!

Being outside in the sun made me really tired. I decided to take a nap on my Daddy's chest.

One of my new favorite activities is to throw sticks. Daddy teaches me which ones are good for throwing.

I also like picking flowers!

My Mommy got these out for me tonight. I received them a few years ago from Aunt Lisa but I was too little to use them then. Mommy didn't have to teach me how to use them today...I just got on them and started walking!
