Happy Birthday! Bryce is seven years old today!

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

The boys had off from school today so my mom and I took the kids to an apple orchard. The kids had a blast together! The best part of the day was playing in the hay maze. They ran, climbed and jumped everywhere!

Bryce's Birthday Party

We had Bryce's birthday party on Friday evening. It was a Star Wars themed party, just like Landon's party.

This year, Bryce had a few friends and neighbors over for his party. That means it was me and John alone with eight boys for three hours on a Friday night! We survived and actually had a great time with all of the kids!

The boys loved playing "Pass the Death Star." We also had lightsaber battles, face painting and pin the lightsabor on Luke Skywalker.

Presents! All of Bryce's friends got him a Star Wars present. They all know him very well!

Look at Bryc's face! This is one excited boy who enjoyed having his friends sing Happy Birthday to him!

Landon's Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Landon's birthday with a Star Wars themed party with friends and family.

Landon was so happy when everyone sang happy birthday to him and he joined everyone in singing!

We could not have asked for more perfect weather for a birthday party! The kids were able to eat outside while the sun began to set behind them.

We planned a few Star Wars related games to play at the party. We made light sabors for everyone and attempted to hold a light sabor training. It didn't go very well and everyone began fighting with their light sabors. I should have expected that with a group of crazy boys!

Landon's Well Check Visit

Landon had his four-year well check visit at the doctor's office this morning. He grew over two inches this year and gained a few pounds. He did a great job at the appointment despite the fact that he had four shots! Landon had his first hearing check and he passed with flying colors!

Snuggle Time

Look at these two little snuggle bugs! The boys woke up early this morning and cuddled together on the couch while watching TV.

All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth

This is a song Bryce will be singing this Christmas! Bryce's front teeth have been loose for several months. He finally decided it was time to part with them and he allowed John to pull both of them out.

Swim Lessons for Landon

Landon started taking swim lessons at the YWCA in a semi-private class with two other kids. So far he loves it but he thinks the water is too cold!

York Fair

We went to the York Fair tonight and of course, Bryce and Landon's favorite part of the fair was the animals. How cute is this? The boys were able to hold bunnies and kittens. They were so gentle and loving with the animals!

Happy Birthday Landon

Landon is four years old today! The last four years with our little fire cracker have flown by quickly! He is becoming such a big boy!

Landon was excited to get a brand new big boy bike for his birthday.

More Family Time

We enjoyed a visit with Vince, Kathleen and Chris today. Bryce and Landon were ecstatic about playing with cousin Chris!

Playdate at Aunt Lisa's

Aunt Lisa invited the boys over to play for the day. Bryce, Landon and Wyatt decided to go "hunting" for animals in Aunt Lisa's backyard. Unfortunately, they didn't catch anything!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for the new academic year. It is hard to believe that Bryce is in first grade! Landon was so lost without having Bryce at home today! He asked when Bryce was going to be home all day.

Bryce was the first one in line to get on the bus this morning. He had a great first day!

Miniature Golf

Bryce and I visited his elementary school this evening to see where his new classroom is located. After our visit, we decided to go miniature golfing together. Bryce had a blast and I enjoyed the one-on-one time with him!

Last Days of Summer Vacation

Summer vacation is almost over! The cousins celebrated one of the last days of summer vacation by going out to lunch together with Molly and Wally. After lunch, we all went to the park together. It was a HOT summer day filled with fun times!

Trip to Ohio

John took Bryce and Landon on a road trip to Ohio to visit family this past weekend. The boys enjoyed playing with Papaw Danes and the entire Sweetman clan. It was a hot weekend so the boys spent time in the pool with Meemaw.

Fun Times!

We watched Emily and Aaron today. The kids had a great time playing together especially at the park. All four kids climbed up the rock wall and I helped them down.

First Dentist Appointment

Landon had his first dentist appointment today. Bryce had his teeth cleaned first and Landon had a front row seat to watch! Bryce did a great job showing Landon exactly what to do when it was his turn. We were really surprised at how well Landon did at the dentist office. He opened his mouth nice and wide.

Tractor Rides

Uncle Jeff took the boys for a tractor ride today. Bryce was the first one to go for a ride and he loved it!

Of course Landon wanted a ride too!

Vacation Bible School

Bryce went to Vacation Bible School this past week. It was an awesome camp and Bryce had a great time!

This evening, the kids sang all of the songs they learned during the week.

Reptile Show

Aunt Lynne and I took Bryce, Landon, Hunter and Wyatt to the library today for a reptile show.

Wow! Hunter wrapped up in a snake!

Wyatt had no reservations about having the snake crawl over him. He loved it!

All of the kids (minus Bryce) were able to hold the longest snake.

Bryce finally felt brave enough to touch a snake with his finger!
