We have really been enjoying the warmer weather lately! This evening, we took the kids and Grayson for a walk around the block, and we also stopped at the playground in our neighborhood. We had a great time!
Bryce and Landon were anxious to show us new playground tricks they have learned.
Landon is finally old enough to participate in sports! He has been anxiously waiting for so long to join his brother in sports. This month he is attending a soccer clinic and he will join his first sports team next month.
Our usually outgoing Landon was very reserved during the clinic. Maybe he will feel more comfortable next week!
Bryce's school hosted a skating party for the kindergartners and first graders. Bryce did a much better job skating this year than last year. He had so much fun that he wants to learn to roller blade this summer.
Bryce's school hosted a game night tonight for parents and kids to play board games together. We had a great time playing Chuttes and Ladders!
Our trampoline became a casualty of a terrible wind storm today. It literally flew in the air and over the fence into our neighbor's yard.
The trampoline knocked over our neighbor's satellite dish and damaged his spouting. We felt horrible that it damaged their house and not ours!
Bryce's friend Sam came over today for a playdate. The boys had a great time playing together!
Today was the Friendship Day party in Bryce's class. It was a special day for Bryce because both John and I volunteered at the party!
I recruited the help of my dad (Wally) with one of the Friendship Day games. He built a heart bean bag toss, and the kids had a great time playing with it.

Landon is such a busy boy and he is always on the go. It is unusual to see him stop and rest. He took a long nap today (in his pajamas), and he looked so peaceful!
Bryce's friend Kelan had a birthday party at a local hotel and snow boarding venue. Bryce had a blast! Here is a view of the slopes from the party hotel room.
Here is Bryce after he went down the hill. He made several trips down the slope and he was exhausted by the time we left.
Bryce took a break from snow tubing to play in a snow pile. It was a great day!
Bryce and Landon have enjoyed spending a lot of time playing outside in the snow this winter. Look at Landon's happy face!
Bryce acquired new skills this year in snowball throwing. Poor Landon has been the recipient of many snowballs in the face. I have a feeling Landon will get his revenge in a few years.
If Bryce and Landon are playing in the snow Grayson is sure to be there too!
No school today due to snow so we bundled up and headed over to Aunt Lisa's to play. Lisa put food dye and water in spray bottles and the kids "painted" the snow. They loved it!
Landon "hunted" for squirrels with Arron's toy gun. He said he wanted to be a hunter just like Uncle Greg.
Pinewood Derby race day has arrived! Bryce had a front row seat to watch all of the racing cars.
John was an official Pinewood Derby helper this morning.
Bryce's car is ready to start racing. It didn't win, but we are already getting ready to improve for next year's race. Wally is determined to help Bryce improve his race time.
Bryce had a scheduled day off from school today and his friend Grant spent the day with us. Bryce had a special request for Grant to wear his army gear for their day together.
Landon was not about to be left out of this day of play. He also wore his army attire and kept up with the older boys - well atleast until his afternoon nap time!
After Landon woke up from his nap, the boys bundled up and went outside to play in the snow with neighbors Carter and Eric.
Grayson loves the snow! He runs and hops like a frog to maneuver his body through the snow.
Landon and I have gone to storytime at the library the past two weeks. This week we went with my friend Mell and her kids Meghan and Charlie. The kids had a great time listening to Ms. Ellen read stories, singing and coloring.
The kids picked out library books after storytime. Meghan attempted to read a book on the rocking chair, but Landon had other ideas. He rocked her on the chair!
Bryce is participating in the Scout's Pinewood Derby competition. We recruited the help of the expert - Wally!
After we worked on the car, we helped to celebrate Wally's birthday. Bryce and Landon were special helpers with the candles!
Bryce and Landon had a great New Year's Eve! We celebrated at friend's house and everyone stayed up to ring in the new year together.
All of the kids had a great time playing together all evening. Just before midnight, they all gathered around the TV to watch the ball drop in New York.
We went roller skating today with Lisa, Lynne and the cousins. It started out a little rough with the boys on skates, but they used the skating buddy and managed to get around the rink.
The skating buddy was great for Bryce. It helped him get accustomed to being on skates and by the end of the day, he was skating by himself.
Santa arrived at our house!
It was a Star Wars Christmas at our house this year! Almost all of Santa's gifts were Star Wars related. Bryce was so excited about that and by the fact that Santa didn't leave him a lump of coal!
Little Landon was so excited about Christmas morning. He loved all of his gifts.
Bryce and Landon set up all of their Star Wars toys and used their imagination all day to create battles. It was a wonderful day to stay in their pajamas all day and play!
Grayson was a very tired dog by the end of the day! There was too much excitement for him!
We spent a lovely day at my parents house to celebrate Christmas Eve. Don't these two boys look handsome in their Christmas outfits!
Landon had a serious conversation with Uncle Greg. He recited his entire Christmas wish list!
