I am always amazed when my kids play with a large box. It is hours of great entertainment and a source of endless creativity. We started out with a big box that turned into many different vehicles - car, truck, even a train.
The boys eventually tore the box into smaller pieces and it became an art project. After a few days of play, the cardboard is now covered in glue, crayon markings, construction paper and anything else that would adhere to it.
There were two major meltdowns when John attempted to throw the mangled box away. It is now in the basement for another week of enjoyment!
